History



< INNOMED > was created in 2004 offering expertise and innovative technological solutions for the production in ISO-7 (class 10.000) clean room conditions of devices and components destined to the health sector,

 

In our clean rooms, < INNOMED > we manufacture components by injection moulding, as well as offering the assembly and packaging of finished products. We also offer engineering services, tooling manufacture, blister packaging solutions, validation and sterilization services.

CHRONOLOGY:

 

In 1962:

 

  • Grupo Gema was founded by José Ortiz Almansa.
  • Since its inception the company is engaged in the production of vinyl records, Compact Disc, videos and other media, ready for commercialization by record companies and companies in the audiovisual sector.
  • As a result, the company acquired an important know-how in plastic injection product with high quality standarts.

 

In 2004:

 

  • GEMA MEDICAL, division dedicated to the manufacture of plastic components for the medical-pharmaceutical, founded mainly microfilters sector.

 

In 2009:

 

  • Microimager activity of the GVS multinational sold.
  • current installations were inaugurated in Barbera del Valles.
  • < INNOMED > is created as a new company name.
  • José Ortiz López, son of the company founder, takes charge of it as DG, initiating a change in business strategy.
  • From that moment Innovamed is focused exclusively on providing services cleanroom for medical-pharmaceutical sector.
  • Manufacturing parts and plastic injection components.
  • Performing various services handled, assembly and blister packaging.

 

Since 2012:

 

  • Contract Manufacturing activity begins with various companies in the sector.
