Formulas to boost the manufacture of medical devices in Spain and their internationalization

The Spanish Federation of Healthcare Technology Companies, Fenin, today presented the results of a report entitled "Study on Healthcare Technology Manufacturing in Spain and its Internationalization".  This study has a double objective: on the one hand, to show a real and updated image of the situation of the manufacturing and exporting companies of medical devices in our country. And, on the other hand, it puts forward a series of recommendations for Public Administrations and companies, with the aim of boosting manufacturing and internationalization among the medical technology industry in our country.

It is necessary to continue investing firmly and decisively in the internationalization of the companies of the Sector and the diversification of markets, helping and encouraging from the Administrations the exit abroad.

Expanding financing, promoting new formulas for public procurement, boosting digitalization and strengthening the "Spain Health Technology brand" are key aspects of the new roadmap.
